Brent Mason DBA "A Living Universe" is the sole owner of all information collected on this site.
We will not sell, share or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
The Living Universe collects information from our users on each website page.
Registration
In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form.
During registration a user is required to give their contact information. We ask for the following contact information:
- E-Mail Address
- First and Last Name
This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed an interest.
When you voluntarily become a member contact information will also be used for membership billing services.
A Living Universe requires the following demographic information:
Your Zip Code is used so we can put a pin in our USA and World map to determine where user concentrations exist.
Age is used to protect users under 13 and attempt to inform parents that their child wishes to participate in A Living Universe.
Some items of information that we don't ask for which are commonly collected by other companies include your gender and income level.
We may share aggragrated information with our partners. See Sharing below.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information.
Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site.
Once the user closes their browser, logs out or ceases activity for over 20 minutes, the cookie simply terminates.
The use of cookies is required to use our site. We use Microsoft ASP technology,

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Log files may be analyzed for game balance, security and bug correction purposes.
Sharing
We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers.
This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
We use PayPal.com for all electronic billing.
PayPal does not share any information with us other than to identify your e-mail address and payment amount so we can properly credit your account upon receipt of payment.

Please be aware that A Living Universe is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.
This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this web site.
Surveys and Contests
From time-to-time our site may request information from our users via surveys or contests.
Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information.
Tell-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and e-mail address.
A Living Universe will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the site. A Living Universe stores this
information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail. If the friend requests NO SPAM we continue to store the e-mail address
in our database along with the date of this request. Outgoing e-mail of a promotional nature is filtered against this list to ensure privacy.
The friend may contact A Living Universe at remove@aLivingUniverse.com to request the complete removal of this information from our database,
but this will result in our being unable to filter for their privacy as we will then have no knowledge their existence.
Security
This website takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both on-line and off-line.
Special Offers
We will send all new members a welcoming e-mail to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information regarding products, services, special deals,
and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we will present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see our choice and opt-out below.
Site and Service Updates
We send user site and service announcements updates. Members are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service.
We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via e-mail.

It will be our choice to determine what advertising if any will be displayed to you. See Opt-Out below.
Opt-Out
We respect your privacy! If you choose, you may opt-out of special offers we may select for you. Users can control this from the My Account page.
All offers you may be sent will include a link which, by clicking, you may remove yourself from future solicitations of a similar nature.
Guests and non-Premium members will receive banner advertising while playing and evaluating the game.
Premium members may opt to supress banner ads. NO POP-UP ADS for anyone!!
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post these changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect,
how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected,
we will notify users by way of an e-mail. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in a different manner.
We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
